From @obxospreycam on May 28, 2026. Chick #1 has hatched! Congratulations to Betsy, Fredrick, and our homeowner! Egg #1 was laid April 21, so this hatch of egg #1 comes on day 38. Egg #2 was laid April 24. Two clips are stitched together here. First we get a look at the chick for the first time, as Betsy gets up and fidgets about. Then, a little later, Fredrick delivers a fish, so Betsy moves to the side, giving us a great look at the new baby. Betsy peeps at the chick as she eats her fish. The chick is very roly-poly and rolls belly-up at the end of the clip.
