This event took about an hour, so I clipped just the most interesting bits: 05:57:35am: Fredrick brings in a fish, a small pumpkinseed; Betsy takes it. C2 takes it from Betsy and mantles until it feels safe to start eating it, shooing C1 away. 06:11:05am: C1 hovers closer and closer to C2, finally getting too close. C2 postures, C1 backs off. 06:18:55am: C1 is hovering close again, goes in for the steal, and nabs the fish! C2 doesn't seem to mind. 06"23:25am: C2 tries to steal the fish back, C1 turns its back to C2, C2 tries to peck at C1. C1 holds the fish in its beak, safely away from C2, but dangling it close to the edge. C2 gives up. Luckily, C1 did not drop the fish overboard! 06:26:37am: C2 hovering close to C1. C1 seems to have dropped the fish accidentally. C2 tries and fails to pick it up. C1 picks it up again, nibbles at it, drops it. They both look at it, stretch tall, C1 gives C2 the stink-eye, but then loses interest. C2 preens and then picks up the fish. C2 ends up finishing up this fish.
