From @obxospreycam on May 28, 2026. Newly-hatched chick #1 gets its first feeding, after Fredrick delivers a nice partial fish to Betsy. C1 is quite roly-poly and rolls over before Betsy can feed it. So Betsy feeds it belly-up. In this clip, you can see the chick getting a few bites, and then I cut it off. But this feeding goes on about 20 minutes in all, as Betsy tries to feed more bites, and then Betsy has to clean up all the dropped bits. Chick stays belly-up the whole time. It's upright at the next feeding.
