The wall preserves ancient stellar light collected from regions so distant that many of the original stars are believed to no longer exist, translating their final signals into visible motion within the room. Individual points brighten, fade, and vanish without repeating, their patterns subtly changing depending on where one stands. The surrounding darkness allows even the faintest preserved signals to remain visible rather than dispersing into the space. Unlike most OSF structures, the chamber is believed to have served as a resting site for those traveling between remote regions.
