They were used to being in the corners and were even brave enough to play in the water together in the cyan plastic tray. Occasionally, the zebra finches were seen busy picking up dry straw to put into their respective nest boxes. They arranged the straw in such a way as to cover the nest boxes as much as possible, so the zebra finches couldn't be seen from outside.
