Zebra Finch Small Aviary: Chapter 4 Part 2 A follow-up video in a small, simple aviary with many zebra finches. In this video, the zebra finches' activities are similar to the previous one: the food menu is the same, the trays are positioned similarly, and the zebra finches are still as usual. The story continues... Zebra finches apparently love boiled eggs. They can finish an entire boiled chicken egg, almost completely. They like to eat the white, while usually leaving some of the yolk. This also depends on whether there's anything else on the menu. If it's just a boiled egg, they'll probably finish it. If it's accompanied by vegetables and seeds, they have a wide variety of choices, so they don't finish the eggs until the evening. There are about 30 zebra finches in this small enclosure. There are about 18 adults, and the rest are juveniles around two months old. Like the previous video, in this video, we also see several times the zebra finch parents feeding their chicks that have emerged from the nest box. Even though they've emerged from the nest box, the chicks aren't yet agile enough to fly. They usually still hang out in the corner and occasionally make noise, asking to be fed by their mother. Okay, that's it for this video. We'll continue in the third video later. Thanks for watching.
