So, when this was made, there were about 18 or 19 adult zebra finches, and the rest were juveniles or chicks in nest boxes. Zebra finches can also tear through large leaves, as seen in this video. They tore through kale leaves three times their size, seemingly effortlessly. Zebra finches move a lot and move quickly. They can be in one corner and then immediately move to another. In my experience, zebra finches are birds with strong stamina for flying, jumping, and other physical movements. Well, maybe it's because of their small size. Other finches also tend to move quickly and have quite a bit of stamina, unlike birds the size of cockatiels or cockatoos.
