Puerto Rico Town By Town

Beginning in January of 2023, my wife Zoraida and I started visiting a different town in Puerto Rico every two weeks. That means that it will take us over 3 years to visit all 78 municipalities (taking into account unforeseen events such as climate and health issues. We started in the town of Carolina, going clockwise around the municipality of San Juan. Why didn't we cover San Juan (you might ask)? Because that's where Puerto Rico By GPS started, so we thought we could give it a rest and return in a near future as needed. As of June of 2025 we have covered 40 municipalities and the adventure continues.

Get Our Exclusive Guide: “10 MISTAKES FIRST-TIME PUERTO RICO VISITORS MAKE” here: https://accrm.com/s/4849 This week my wife and I visited the town of Aibonito, flower capitol of Puerto Rico. We started at the beautiful San José Parish, that will be celebrating its 200th birthday in just a few weeks. Then we took a stroll around Segundo Ruiz Belvis Square and ended up at City Hall. From there we visited the Old Tobacco Factory, where we bought an avocado the size of a large grapefruit. Not one of those teeny weeny “avocados from Mexico” that you see in the States. This one was huge!!! After that we were off to the Casa Museo Federico Degetau, Puerto Rico’s first resident commissioner. To continue with the “museum vibe” we went to “Galería Vista Alegre”, a smaller museum that holds a beautiful painting collection donated by Dr. Jorge Luis Sanchez Colón. At that point we left the center of town and drove to the Aibonito countryside to see “el reloj de flores”, a monumental floral clock that’s all the rage on the Island. Finally we visited the San Cristóbal Canyon area and ended the program with the Aibonito Flower Festival (el festival de las flores de Aibonito). And just so you know, I’m well aware that the flower festival takes place in July. That’s why we visited then and saved the footage for now. ================ VIDEO CHAPTERS ================ 00:00 - Introduction 01:01 - Bumper 01:17 - About Aibonito 02:09 - San José Parish 04:01 - Segundo Ruiz Belvis Square 06:03 - City Hall 06:54 - Old Tobacco Factory 08:18 - Federico Degetau Museum 11:01 - Galería Vista Alegre 12:14 - El Jardín De Jeanny (Monumental Floral Clock) 15:32 - San Cristóbal Canyon 17:40 - Aibonito Flower Festival 19:04 - Old San Juan Walking Tour And of course, as in all our videos, every attraction includes the GPS coordinates for your convenience. ================================ SUBSCRIBE TO OUR CHANNEL HERE: ================================ https://www.youtube.com/@puertoricobygps?sub_confirmation=1 ================= RELATED CONTENT ================= Why I Do What I Do? — https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jr0pHfFfMJM&t=66sæ La Vuelta Del Bobo”, A Traffic Jam That Puerto Ricans Actually Enjoy — https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H434m-b9v7A&t=4s Does GPS Work In Puerto Rico?
