A jury is to determine whether Lindsay Clancy is criminally responsible for killing her three children in 2023 in Duxbury, Massachusetts. She was being treated for postpartum mental health issues when she killed the children: Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, who was 8 months old. Plymouth County Superior Court Judge William Sullivan is presiding over the jury trial, which began on July 27 and is expected to last six to eight weeks.

The jury in Lindsay Clancy's murder trial heard 20 minutes of testimony this morning before recessing for the day. The 18 jurors — six are alternates — will return to Plymouth County Superior Court Judge William F. Sullivan's courtroom Friday for what the judge said will be a full day. "I told you it was going to be a short day for you, right? And I appreciate your patience with this. So I'm going to excuse you till tomorrow at 9," Judge Sullivan said. "And when you leave here today, just drive, go home wherever you're going to go, and plan on being back here tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock," the judge continued. "It will be a longer day than today. I appreciate you coming in here today. We moved the case a little bit today, and I appreciate that." "So I hope everybody has a nice afternoon and evening. We'll see you tomorrow morning for a longer day. And just remember those instructions from the moment you leave till the moment you come here tomorrow."
