Lund does not know who he's talking to. Wash swoops in with Serenity and threatens to open fire on a bar — Serenity has no weapons, but they don't find that out. Niska runs a skyplex, hangs people by their feet, and has a job for Mal's crew: rob a train on Regina of unspecified cargo. The cargo turns out to be Pescaline D, the only medicine for a degenerative disease that's wiping out the colony at Paradiso. Mal returns it. Crow threatens to hunt him to the ends of the galaxy. Mal kicks him into the engine intake. The second henchman takes a completely different approach to the situation. River tells Simon this isn't home. Then correctly identifies the ship down to the class code. The Hands of Blue are now personally involved. Post-reaction: Leo is watching Firefly for the first time. Syntell hasn't seen it since it first aired. Both agree Mal is the move — don't mistake his moral code for softness, and don't monologue at him if you're a villain.
