Today I met someone the same age as me, but living a completely different life. We’re both 40, but our paths couldn’t be more different. He has a family, two kids, and somehow manages to run six different businesses. Meanwhile, I’m still living in my tiny van, traveling around Japan, and trying to figure out where my own journey is taking me. Talking with him didn’t make me feel behind. It actually gave me energy. There’s no single right way to live your life. Sometimes meeting someone on a completely different path is exactly the motivation you need to keep moving forward.
