Hi all, you might have noticed that I haven’t been posting much lately, more than lately actually, nearly a full year. These is a reason for this, and I thought appropriate to tell you why. Many of you have been following my channel for years, patient enough to wait months for the next burst of video activity. I am so grateful for that! And in a sense, you have become more than random subscribers, you have become a little like distant friends. This is why I decided to open myself in this short video. A year ago, I learned that I had a rare and incurable form of cancer. For now, the doctor managed to stabilize it with chemotherapy. As my body has been handling pretty well the chemo’s side effects compared to other patients, I managed to continue a life not too far from normality, except that I had to cut down on some activities. Since this month, the cancer has woken up and has starting to explore my backbone, so now, I am back into an intense medical period. Weirdly, this development could give information that would lead to a more effective treatment, so all is not black, and I do keep high hopes for an eventual stabilizing of the cancer. And who knows, if I hold on long enough, medical AIs might progress sufficiently, and an expected cure could show up…. This is what I tell you in the video.
