Currently Playing: How to build Quantum Fields! (Physics, Computer Science)

Recently, I ran into something quite amazing while I was working on animations for my next physics video (What is an electron - part 3). I was so baffled by what I discovered, that I had to share it with you. For the context, I was working on a section of that video that relates to the transformation of energy concentrated at a position into the perception of a matter particle. I was doing so within the scope of quantum field theory, so to illustrate my words, I needed to be able to draw some dynamic fields in space. Normally, I find images and elements in royalty-free libraries, and if I want to produce a dynamic illustration, I use a powerpoint animation tools, build the animation from scratch and then I export it into a video clip. But for the task I had in mind, my normal process was useless and I had no clue how to follow through. Then I got the idea: Maybe I could ask an Artificial Intelligence for some help? I didn’t want it to produce the images and videos. First it would be imprecise, and second, expensive, especially for making the result specific enough for what I had in mind. So I thought: Instead, could it help me to code a software with parameters I could set, and that would generate elements of these animations the way I wanted them to be? A kind of “Quantum Field Video Studio”. Well, to my amazement, it worked! It took me a full day interacting with the AI, going back and forth. The outcome I got at the end of the day, literally blew my mind. The most incredible out of this is that I only have a free plan, accessible to everybody with a phone or a computer. I didn’t spend a single dollar to build a software perfectly customized for my needs. I had to show you this stuff! So get ready to be as amazed as I was, and who knows, soon, you will be building your own customized software for whatever specific needs you might have! #computerscience #physics #quantumphysics #animations #AI - - - - - - - - - STRUCTURE OF THE VIDEO 00:00 How to build Quantum Fields.
