After months of demolition, cleanup, and uncovering what was hiding inside this abandoned building, I’m finally moving into the rebuilding phase. In this episode, I finish the downstairs demolition, lay down the vapor barrier, and get the space ready for floor joists and a brand-new floor. Turning an abandoned general store and post office into a home has been such a huge project, and it feels incredible to finally see this space transition from demolition to construction. There is still SO much work to do, but this is one of those moments where it finally feels like I’m bringing this old building back to life. Come along as I restore this abandoned general store and post office and slowly transform this historic building into my home. Thank you for being here and following along with this crazy renovation! 🤍 Make sure to subscribe! #EmmaShaye #AbandonedGeneralStore #GeneralStoreRenovation #OldHouseRenovation #HistoricHome
