With years of contents still inside the old store, I brought in some backup and we spent a long, exhausting day moving everything out during a heat wave, so I can start working on the flooring downstairs! I’m restoring and renovating this old general store and former post office one project at a time, trying to preserve as much of the original character as possible while slowly turning this long-abandoned historic building into a home, bringing life back to a building that has been sitting neglected for decades.
