In this video, my dad—who’s a licensed contractor—and I are tackling the broken staircase in my abandoned home. These stairs are the only way to the second floor, and I’ve been dying to see what’s up there. This project is a big step (pun intended) in restoring the house and uncovering its secrets. With my dad’s help, we’re rebuilding the stairs and finally making the second floor accessible. We’re adding support posts, pouring concrete footings, and making sure the staircase is strong and safe. It’s a crucial step in restoring this old home, and I couldn’t have done it without my dad’s expertise.
