At long last, I finally finished the flail mower conversion. I say "finished" but projects like this never really are. It's done for now, though. I added a little deflector on the front to keep grass from flying up onto the mower, the tractor and me. It works great! The cut is really good, too leaving hardly anything left standing. This field is pretty overgrown and thick but it does great. I'm not thrilled with how much it vibrates but I don't think there's anything I can do about it. It vibrates probably as much as the tractor would vibrate if it had an engine so I don't know if you could feel the mower if it did have an engine. Maybe they all vibrate?? Anyway, I'm thrilled with how well it works and I think it looks cool, too! Thanks for watching, Bill
