Well, it's been about 2 weeks since my last update. There's a good reason for that... Last Saturday and half of Sunday, I got quite a lot done with the hood. A whole bunch of cutting and stretching and bending to extend it about 12". Turns out Cub hoods are dimensionally complex. Not only do they get narrower as they go back but they also get taller as they go back. Who knew?? The last half of Sunday was spent in the emergency room mending the fingers on my left hand because I tried to stop a wood chipper with them. Not a good idea. I'll find out in a couple days if they're going to amputate the tip of either one of them. I feel like such a fool. Oh well, chicks dig scars. Today was the first time in a week I've been able to get back into the garage so I took the opportunity to mount my battery monitor display into the console and I made a little cover for the 12v battery and fuse block.
