After sorting out the electrics and sending the fuel tank to a guy to get all the rust out (a significant amount of rust!) I thought I'd see if it'll run. In a word, no. I think I have several problem. There was no fuel in the #1 injector line and it doesn't feel like there's much compression. I'm going to send the injector pump and injectors off to get rebuilt and while the injectors are out, I'll run a compression test to see what I'm up against. It's tempting to consider an EV conversion but for what it'd cost to convert it, I can most certainly get it running. I really want to try to make biodiesel, too. So that's the plan.
