Thanks in no small part to Collin Kidder, I got the actuator working with the Arduino for a short while on the couch today. A little while after making the first part of this video, the voltage regulator on the Arduino let all of it's smoke out. I ordered some more. I'll figure it out. This evening I made an executive decision about where the actuator is going to go. I have no idea if there is a more optimal spot for it and by all accounts, we'll never know! Next on the list is maybe starting to fab up the front actuator connecting rod bracket. I also need to start thinking about how I'm going to secure the batteries. Much to do but slowly checking off things from the list.
