This is a series of videos showing my journey toward building a custom 4x4 Cub Cadet lawn tractor

I got a chance to see several full-sized 4x4 tractors over the weekend. The Case tractors use a top floppy link like I'm using but theirs extends clear back to the rear axle where-as mine stops about mid-way. This got me to wondering if I should move mine. Well, I didn't think about it long and just went ahead and moved it... Aesthetically, it'll work much better but practically, it's kind of worse as it effectively halves my wheel articulation. I imagine it'll be fine. For one thing, I'll be looking at it a whole lot more than I'll be rock crawling and even if I do encounter an obstacle that's higher than 4", there will be a mechanical stop so it shouldn't matter... What do you think?? In other news, I found a home for the controller, battery and DCDC converter. The DCDC converter mount doubles as a front hood support and will also provide a fixing point for eventual side panels. Thanks for watching! Bill
