When Batman crossed over with Static Shock, The Joker continued his habit of using and abusing teenagers. In The Big Leagues, he goes to Dakota and immediately does what he always does: finds vulnerable young people, offers them belonging, and turns them into his tools. The Meta-Breed think he’s their path to greatness, but like so many before them (and many more to come) they’re just tools waiting to be discarded. This episode also marks a turning point for Static himself. It’s the first time he faces a fully grown supervillain, the moment he earns the trust of Batman, and the beginning of his place within the wider DC Animated Universe. What looks like a simple crossover is actually a hidden chapter in the Joker’s long history of corrupting the young, and a defining moment in Static’s rise as a hero. If you’re a fan of Batman: The Animated Series, Batman Beyond, or Justice League, this is one episode you shouldn’t overlook. 🔔 Subscribe for more in-depth reviews and analyses of your favourite DC cartoons and comic books! 👍 If you liked the video don't forget to like, share, and leave a comment! 🔔 Click the bell icon to stay updated on future content! 🌟 Become a member for exclusive perks and early access! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0yFOXbX98P3qz- IvT7uRQQ/join 🎶 Music by Katt Strike - listen to the whole track here: https://youtu.be/VKdA2lCjtas?si=pi0iWvL5bMCJupHL ✂️ edited by @BlueknightBeyond If you enjoyed this video I've got many more you could watch.
