The kids have officially made it through their first week back at primary school here in China, with my son now in Grade Four and my daughter starting primary school for the very first time! Thankfully, they’ve both settled into their new routines really well already, which has made the whole transition much easier than we expected. We had beautiful weather this morning, so my wife and I enjoyed walking them to school together, stopping off at a little stationery shop along the way to pick up some coloring pens for a price that still feels incredibly affordable compared to what I’m used to back in the UK. It was a little disappointing to see some litter on the bridge outside the school, although that’s something I’ve definitely seen improve a lot over the years. From up there, we could look down into the school grounds and watch the kids make their way into the building, which is always a nice little moment before we say goodbye and get on with our own day. Then, with both kids safely delivered to school, it was time for my wife and me to head off and find some breakfast! 😂❤️🇨🇳
