From the Thunderbolts episode... Misconception #9: What About Einstein? Original Post July 26, 2025 Running Time 18:29 https://youtu.be/h99awqKbGYk Narrated by David Drew. Ninth episode in the Misconception series on the EU Model. As legend has it, when Einstein was asked, “Who is the smartest person you have met?” he responded: “My chauffeur.” When asked why this was, he said. “He stood in for me once when I was feeling ill. Having heard my lecture more than 300 times, he was able to repeat it word for word and even answer questions afterwards.” Science is not a personality cult, though. Ideas must stand on evidence, not celebrity. Before rushing to judgment, context is essential. When Einstein introduced his theories in the early 20th century, the Milky Way was still believed to constitute the entire universe, and gravity was considered the sole force shaping cosmic structure. The fourth state of matter—plasma—had yet to enter astronomer lexicon. Today, we know over 99% of the visible universe is plasma. Electromagnetic fields sculpt galaxies, light up nebulae, and power cosmic jets. The cosmos is not electrically neutral but charged and dynamic. Einstein's achievements were remarkable for their time, but science must evolve. As he himself warned, “Unthinking respect for authority is the greatest enemy of truth.” The road ahead lies in evidence-based inquiry, where models serve observations, not the other way around. Plasma cosmology and the Electric Universe warrant a place at the table. The EU Model advocates for a return to the æther theory of classical physics.
