Fourth episode in the Turquoise Sun series. A comparative study of a particularly fascinating creation myth from ancient Egypt sourced from Ev Cochrane's "The Case of the Turquoise Sun" his latest book. The Horus-child atop a lotus flower represents a popular theme in Egyptian religious iconography—such as the famous sculpture from the tomb of King Tut showing the youthful sun-god emerging from a lotus flower. A passage from the Coffin Texts describes Horus’s inaugural appearance during the tumultuous events of the separation of heaven and earth—the primordial sun-god appears atop a lotus flower at the time of creation. Just a few of the hundreds of similar anomalies found in ancient artworks and literature—none of which can be explained by referring to the present solar system.
