MC Sugarbutt is an old-school hip-hop pioneer from the early '80s whose career was famously derailed in 1983 after a freak accident at a televangelist event where a woman, fell on him and knocked him into a decades-long coma. Since waking up, he has struggled with the passage of time while stubbornly maintaining a vintage, simple rhyming flow that often devolves into nonsensical non-sequiturs about eating vegetables or drinking milk. A perpetual entrepreneur of questionable motives, he has spent his post-coma years cycling through pyramid schemes, including selling Herbalife shakes, operating a "Roomba-to-the-Toomba" grave-cleaning business, and attempting to recruit host "Scotty D" into his various ventures.
