Big Chunky Bubbles, whose real name is Petey Amin, is a notoriously irritable American bubble performer who treats his audiences of children with a mix of severe impatience and open hostility. During his disastrous, "horrific" stage acts, he spends the opening minutes scolding his young audience in broken French and German, threatening them with the "Miles Davis treatment" if they fail to remain quiet. His act relies on using bizarre, non-traditional materials; he works with a hot tureen of New England clam chowder and a saucepan of poutine gravy, both of which regularly result in painful, self-inflicted accidents that cause him to unleash loud, cartoonish profanity. He deeply resents his audiences, frequently lecturing unimpressed children on the laborious process of extracting cheese curds from gravy or explicitly telling them that they do not deserve special treats due to their "rude and immature attitudes." His performances are highly dangerous, culminating in incidents like a massive, opaque "poutine bubble" bursting directly into his eyes, which once caused him to blindly kick over a large pot of boiling gravy, sending a scalding wave of meat leavings toward terrified onlookers.
