Tony and Lucille Restaurantino (born 1932 and 1929 respectively) are a local, fiercely opinionated retired couple from New Haven, Connecticut, who ran their successful family eatery for 53 years before recently being forced out of business. Lucille, whose maiden name was Chef, tragically lost her parents when they knocked heads and fell into the Grand Canyon—an incident they claim inspired the installation of modern safety fences. Known by their respective nicknames, "Halitosis Jones" and "Old Dusty Pussy," the couple harbors a deep, comedic hatred for their neighbor and arch-nemesis, Frank Pepe of Pepe's Pizza, whom they curse for ruining their livelihood simply by having a better restaurant and attracting superior Yelp reviews. Holding eccentric beliefs, such as a biblical mandate to "spank your wives good night," the duo now spends their retirement listening to podcasts, researching internet details via Dogpile, and guesting on comedy shows to aggressively air their grievances against clam-topped pizzas and internet critics.
