Garden tower defense

Currently Playing: Every Unit That Got BUFFED in Garden Tower Defense

We missed a couple weeks of buffs in Garden Tower Defense, so today we're covering all of them at once — then building a team out of the buffed units and testing them on Garden Grind. EVERY BUFF AND REWORK: OCTO SHROOM — damage buff. Max DPS went from 2,000 to 3,000. CARROTASTROPHE — full rework. Burst removed, knockback added. Max placements dropped from 5 to 3, but max DPS jumped from 2,600 to 5,200 with only three units placed. ELECTRIC BEETROOT — big rework. Added 0.2 second stun that applies to the entire electric chain. Level 5 DPS went from 120 to 512. STARFRUIT — rework with cascading added. Max DPS went from 28 to 9,000, and max single target DPS went from 28 to 3,000. EGGPLANTONIUM — time stop duration increased from 3 to 4 seconds. Ability cost went up, but abilities NO LONGER increase in price with every use. Level 5 max DPS went from 12,150 to 17,100. The test team: Eggplantonium, Electric Beetroot, Starfruit, Carrotastrophe, Octo Shroom, First Bloom Day Cake and Festive Garden Warble. Electric Beetroot's chain stun is genuinely strong now, Carrotastrophe's knockback makes it relevant again after going so long without a buff, and Eggplantonium was the clear MVP. Octo Shroom's range is still rough though. Still grinding Garden Grind for that unit — 12 out of 67 pity. GIVEAWAY: Leave a comment for your chance to win a Mortar Fern!
