With Signal Stem released, the stems team finally has real crowd control — so let’s build it. But halfway into the first wave it became obvious that Garden Grind has been completely reworked. The team: Cyber Stem as the starter, plus Overlord Stem, Sorcery Stem, Sub Zero Stem, Corrupted Stem, Spell Stem and Signal Stem. WHAT CHANGED ON GARDEN GRIND: Enemies on the opening waves that were never there before — I took 174 damage on wave 1 Wave 7 is noticeably EASIER now King Wasp dropped from around 400,000 HP to 200,000 The hiding unit on wave 32 went from 2 million to 4 MILLION HP Wave 35 has completely different enemies Wave 36 enemies got weaker, but late waves now send 7.5 million HP units And a 15 MILLION HP boss that I was in no way prepared for So the early game got easier and the late game got significantly harder. Better for farming, much worse for finishing. Signal Stem is the standout from the team — a FIVE SECOND stun is genuinely crazy, and it even landed a stun on the hiding unit. Downside is the range, which is rough. Overlord Stem is still a monster right off placement. Spell Stem at 124 DPS isn’t worth the upgrade cost. There’s also a traits update I’ve only glanced at.
