This week was almost entirely poison and toxic buffs in Garden Tower Defense, so we're going through all of them and then building a full toxic team to test them. TOXIC LEAF — rework. Bursts 4 beams, up to 6 concurrent beams on multiple enemies, but now limited to one per plant. Acid damage frequency went from 2 seconds to 0.5 seconds, acid duration dropped from 10 seconds to 4. Max DPS at level 5 went down, acid damage went way up, and it costs a bit more. TOXIC MUSHROOM — rework. Puddle duration 15 to 4 seconds, puddle limit 4 to UNLIMITED, damage radius 8 to 6. Level 5 max DPS went from 2,790 to 4,000. TOXIC BUD — rework. Max placement dropped from 4 to 3 and per-hit damage went down, but acid went from 95 to 185 and max DPS went from 3,780 to 6,020. With three placed that's over 18,000 DPS. KABOOM SHROOM — big buff. Damage went from 275,000 to 500,000, and placement cost went from 50,000 to 100,000. FREEZING REWORK — all freezing units now apply freeze stacks. At 10 stacks an enemy is frozen for 1 second and cannot move at all. After being frozen it gets 8 seconds of immunity to freeze stacks, and plants can apply a maximum of 2 stacks per second. Also: PvP and Endless both got ban lists. The test team: Prism Leaf, First Bloom Day Cake, Toxic Leaf, Toxic Mushroom, Toxic Bud, Sub Zero Stem (for the freeze stacks) and Kaboom Shroom. Honestly I didn't think this team would make it — no crowd control, and the toxic units are expensive to upgrade now. Kaboom Shroom ended up carrying the whole run. Sub Zero Stem's slow cooldown is still way too long for what it does. Still no unit from Garden Grind. At this point I'm convinced the pity counter is personally against me.
