Shock Frost Sprout and Hydro Bloom Cannon might be the best duo in Garden Tower Defense right now — and the reason is that they feed off each other. Hydro Bloom Cannon makes Shock Frost Sprout's chain hit more targets, and both of them already do absurd damage on their own. So we stacked every buff we could around them: Prism Leaf as the starter, First Bloom Day Cake, Butterfly Hut, Festive Garden Warble and Watering Can. The gamble was crowd control — this team has almost none outside of Shock Frost Sprout's freeze and the occasional time stop. On Garden Grind that's a real problem. Once both carries hit level 5 with Butterfly Hut range stacked on top, the run turned into a highlight reel. The 435,000 HP boss, the 750,000 HP spiders and a 2 million HP mini boss all went down without much trouble. Then wave 36 showed up — the DPS check — and that one came down to a freeze landing at exactly the right moment. Also still trying to work out whether Hydro Bloom Cannon is AoE. Pretty sure it is.
