VantyX - NOTHING STAYS | Gothic Metal / Female Vocals (Official Music Video) “Forever has an expiration date.” NOTHING STAYS is a dark cinematic gothic metal story about loyalty that survives longer than love itself. Two people keep holding on while time slowly erases the promises, the fire, and the world they once built together. Driven by explosive female vocals, crushing guitars, heavy drums, and a raw nu-metal breakdown, this track turns fading devotion into a brutal emotional release. NOTHING STAYS // Official Lyrics We carved our vows in the ancient stone I swore I would never leave you alone I stood by your side when the sky turned black I carried your weight and I never looked back But the rain washes even the deepest words away And the brightest colors are bleeding into gray I kept the faith, I held the line I worshipped at our broken shrine But you can't chain the wind, you can't stop the clock The castles we built are turning to rock Nothing stays! Watch it all decay! The love we bled for washes away! I gave you my loyalty, I gave you my ghost! But time is the thief that haunts us the most! Nothing stays the same! We're just ashes in the flame! The golden ring is turning green on my hand An hourglass leaking the last of its sand I look in your eyes and the fire is gone We are holding hands but we're moving on Loyalty feels like a lonely cell When the heaven we promised is rusting to hell I kept the faith, I held the line I worshipped at our broken shrine But you can't chain the wind, you can't stop the clock The castles we built are turning to rock! Nothing stays! Watch it all decay! The love we bled for washes away! I gave you my loyalty, I gave you my ghost! But time is the thief that haunts us the most! Nothing stays the same! We're just ashes in the flame! Forever... you promised me forever... But forever has an expiration date... We didn't break... we just faded... Forever is a lie! Watch the devotion die! Nothing stays! Watch it all decay! The love we bled for washes away! I gave you my loyalty, I gave you my ghost! But time is the thief that haunts us the most! Nothing stays the same! We're just ashes... We're just ashes in the flame! Ashes... Nothing stays the same... We faded away... ℗ & © 2026 VantyX Records. All rights reserved.
