VantyX - Devour Or Bleed | Gothic Metal / Female Vocals (Official Music Video) "There are two types of tragedies in this world." Devour Or Bleed is a cinematic descent into predatory horror. Driven by a powerful female vocalist, heavy distorted guitars, and dark atmospheric synth pads, this track follows a ruthless mind navigating a world built on greed. As dramatic dynamic shifts build through whispered verses and clean emotional singing, the tension erupts into explosive screams and a cathartic chorus. Rooted in gothic metal with nu-metal influences, industrial textures, and layered harmonies, it delivers a crushing breakdown and a massive final chorus that locks the door from the inside. DEVOUR OR BLEED // OFFICIAL LYRICS [Intro] There are two types of tragedies in this world. The prey... who believe they can reason with the teeth. And the wolves... who believe I am not hungry. [Verse 1] Don't bring a prayer to a slaughterhouse floor When the hounds are starving and scratching the door You speak of morality, beg for a truce But the neck has to snap when it’s inside the noose! I didn't invent how the hierarchy works I just studied the shadows where the violence lurks You want to be noble? Go bleed on a cross! I calculate leverage, I mitigate loss! [Chorus] Devour or bleed! There is no grace in a world built on greed! Swallow the mercy, sharpen the bone! The one who eats first gets to sit on the throne! Don't wait for the ambush, don't wait for the strike! Put their heads on a beautifully decorated spike! [Verse 2] Dress for the funeral, speak with a smile Keep them comfortable... just for a while. The loudest ones barking are always the weak The real monsters whisper whenever they speak. Offer them a hand, look them deep in the eye And watch the life drain as you sever the tie. It isn't malicious, it isn’t a sin... It's just understanding what game we are in. [Bridge] Oh, I would love to be gentle... I would love to be kind... But the teeth are so close... And I refuse to be blind! I am the predator! [Chorus] Devour or bleed! There is no grace in a world built on greed! Swallow the mercy, sharpen the bone! The one who eats first gets to sit on the throne! Don't wait for the ambush, don't wait for the strike! Put their heads on a beautifully decorated spike! [Outro] They thought they surrounded me. They didn't realize... I just locked the door from the inside. ℗ & © 2026 VantyX Records. All rights reserved.
