VantyX - Unable to Feel | Female Fronted Gothic Metal (Official Music Video) “I’d rather live in something that was never real than stand here in the present unable to feel.” UNABLE TO FEEL is about missing a version of life you know you can never return to, and choosing the pain of memory over the emptiness of feeling nothing at all. Cold piano, intimate vocals, aching melodies, distorted guitars, and explosive screams build a track caught between nostalgia, grief, and emotional numbness. Unable to Feel // Official Lyrics The coffee's cold but I still smell the morning When everything was soft and undefined I keep the window cracked the same way you left it Like air could bring back what I left behind I don't want it back I just need to feel it one more time I don't want to stay I just need somewhere that still feels like mine Give me back the version where I didn't know How beautiful it was before I watched it go I'd rather live in something that was never real Than stand here in the present unable to feel The playlist still autoplays on Saturday I skip the songs and then I don't Because sad feels better than just feeling bad I don't need it fixed I just need a minute where it breathes I don't need the answer Just to grieve what no one sees Give me back the version where I didn't know How beautiful it was before I watched it go I'd rather live in something that was never real Than stand here in the present unable to feel It wasn't even real... But God it felt like something... Something I could feel Give me back the version... Give me back the version where I didn't know How beautiful it was before I watched it go I'd rather live in something that was never real Than stand here in the present — unable to feel Unable to feel...
