VantyX - You Rewrote My Soul | Gothic Metal / Female Vocals (Official Music Video) “They said love was only chemistry… then why did it rewrite my soul?” “You Rewrote My Soul” is an original cinematic gothic metal song by VantyX about a love that reaches beyond fear, loneliness, and even death. With haunting female vocals, dark atmospheric piano, heavy guitars, and an emotionally powerful chorus, the song follows a broken soul transformed by someone who did not erase the darkness, but chose to stand beside it. It is a story of scars becoming stars, emptiness turning into light, and a connection so deep that even when the body disappears, the heart still remembers the name. You Rewrote My Soul // Official Lyrics They said love... was only chemistry. Then why... did it rewrite my soul? I walked through winters made of stone, Built a kingdom all alone. Every smile was counterfeit, Every fire refused to lit. Then your silence found my skin... Like daylight buried deep within. I was never looking for forever. Forever... found me. When my heart learned your name! The darkness forgot my face! Every wound became a star! Every scar remembered grace! If love is only chemistry... Why... Does my soul still speak your language? You never promised endless skies, Only truth behind your eyes. You never pulled me from the night... You simply... stood beside it. And somehow... The monsters stopped remembering my name. People think... Love is finding someone... No. Love... Is becoming someone... you never believed could exist. When my heart learned your name! Time itself forgot to bleed! The empty spaces turned to light! The broken roots became a seed! If death should take this flesh away... Let it. Love was never born... Inside the body. One day... My voice will disappear. My bones will become dust. But somewhere... A heartbeat... Will still pronounce... Your name. ℗ & © 2026 VantyX Records. All rights reserved.
