VantyX - KISS THE BLADE | Female Fronted Gothic Metal (Official Music Video) "The metal tastes like frozen rain... a perfect remedy for the pain." KISS THE BLADE is about the dangerous moment when pain starts disguising itself as relief. The closer the edge gets, the more tempting surrender becomes — until mercy, fear, and self-preservation begin to blur into the same cold impulse. KISS THE BLADE // OFFICIAL LYRICS Cold steel against the skin... A silver tongue, a silent sin. I see my reflection in the edge, Walking closer to the ledge. The metal tastes like frozen rain, A perfect remedy for the pain. Don’t turn away, don’t close your eyes, This is where the mercy dies. Kiss the blade! Let the silver cut the night! Kiss the blade! Surrender to the dying light! No more running, no more lies, Underneath the hollow skies, Just... kiss... the... blade! Sharper than the truth... Colder than your youth... Rot... bleed... kiss... repeat... Original gothic metal and dark cinematic music with female vocals, heavy emotion, and dark atmosphere.
