Travelling north to visit family in Townsville, our Witness was driving north of Roma on the Carnarvon Highway driving at approximately 50kmph due to Kangaroo’s on the road. In the distance there appeared to be what looked like a large Roo on the side of the road. As she came closer, the Witness slowed the car further and as she approached, the creature stood up on two legs. It was fully covered in hair and was standing next to a dead Kangaroo. It was roughly 4 - 5ft tall and covered in an auburn – red hair. Our witness was good enough to provide a sketch of the creature.
