Dark Souls is an older title, but with this Dark Souls co-op mod that integrates Dark Souls real multiplayer, the game has a whole new level of fun attached to it. Dark Souls 3 co-op is in a similar place. The Dark Souls 3 seamless co-op mod adds Dark Souls 3 multiplayer much like how it is implemented in Elden Ring Nightreign. Nightreign in many ways feels like what base game Elden Ring multiplayer could have been in Elden Ring. Maybe Fromsoft will consider officially adding real multiplayer to Souls games, because if the popularity of this seamless co-op Elden Ring mod is anything to go off of, then it's definitely a feature worth looking into. Among other Dark Souls mods such as those that overhaul the anti-cheat in multiplayer.
