We are back with yet another Miraculous season 3 retrospective review and today our episode is Animaestro which is the dreaded self insert episode where we see Thomas Astruc become an actual character in the show beyond his insert into Tom Dupain. I will say that this episode really did have so much promise and could have been really cool, but is constantly being dragged down by lazy writing. On top of this sometimes it feels like an episode where the man in question complains about how he doesn’t get enough credit and that he should be treated better and with more respect. In the end it is not a great start to the third season. Lots of promise but it falls short in the execution. I hope that the next episode is better. For now though I hope you enjoy my thoughts on Animaestro. Enjoy!
