Across the years, it’s been obvious that Marinette has faced some pretty heavy criticism. Some warranted, and some less so, but since Season 6 has come around those reasons have all but largely faded. Since she is the main character though, Marinette is faced with decisions and choices that sometimes will be frowned upon. That’s just the nature of a good protagonist, and in my eyes is big growth compared to the previous arc. Even so, this one is a bit of a doozy. Lying to your boyfriend about his dad being a supervillain. His cruel, abusive dad and letting him believe that he was ACTUALLY a hero. Sounds a bit iffy? Yeah, cause it is, but I think the show actually wants you to think that which again, is a good thing. However, since then Marinette has once again been dragged through the mud and so today I want to tackle the big question. Did Marinette do the right thing?
