Currently Playing: Miraculous World Tokyo Is JUST Around The Corner!

I think we can all agree that Miraculous World Specials are consistently awesome. I don’t think we’ve had a bad one yet, which is SAYING something given the show's history. However this one is different, for multiple reasons. First of all, it’s releasing at a time when Miraculous is genuinely at it’s best. I’ve been loving season 6 so to add a Miraculous world special into the mix is just the cherry on top. Normally the Miraculous Worlds have been shining lights in the dark so it’ll be interesting to see how it compares to the show. Secondly, it’s animated in 2D in an anime-esque style, fitting for it’s city Tokyo. Something that many fans have clamoured for since the show's inception when it originally was going to be animated this way. Thirdly, it’s a starting point for an upcoming spin-off show with brand new characters set in Japan. I mean, there’s a lot of expectations around this special, and I can’t help but be extremely hyped about it. So today I figured I’d dive into the brand new teaser and posters to see what we can puzzle out. Fair warning I wrote, recorded AND started editing this before the brand new trailer released so I’ll cover that one a little later.
