Yes I can already hear your comments being typed out. “Really Smarty Pants, another Marinette defence?!”. Well it’s hardly my fault, I really do feel that I am in the right here. The reality is that it does feel that a massively vocal portion of the fanbase very much hates the character not matter what and I suppose I just wanted to get across my views on why I think that the most recent hate wave is a little bit misguided, or at the very least completely lacking in any sort of nuance. So that is what this discussion is. A defence of Marinette, and an explanation of why I think people are approaching this storyline wrong. Enjoy!
