Eleanor Shellstrop, a deceased saleswoman who lived a morally corrupt life, finds herself in a heaven-like afterlife in a case of mistaken identity and tries to hide her past in order to stay there.
Curated by: Syntell (43 videos)
Syntell and Rekkai are back for The Good Place Episode 6, and Eleanor discovers her mother Donna Shellstrop faked her own death, moved to a Nevada suburb, and reinvented herself as a PTA mom with a rich, dorky boyfriend named Dave. Between Michael pitching a plan to prove it's all a scam, Tahani flying in to make amends with her sister Kamilah only to end up wielding an axe at her own art exhibit, and Janet dropping a reboot-sized bombshell on Eleanor, no spoilers on whether anyone actually accepts an apology. Post-reaction: both hosts had a great time getting personal about forgiving without forgetting, a real conversation about whether people can truly change, honest stories about cutting off people who keep hurting you, a look at Tahani's jealousy of her sister and her name-dropping habit, and a shout-out to the Discord for a Dalai Lama quote on forgiveness.
