The Good Place Season 3 Episode 5 REACTION | "The Ballad of Donkey Doug" | Syntell & Rekkai Syntell and Rekkai are back for The Good Place Episode 5, and Jason drags the whole crew to Florida to save his old friend Pillboi from a doomed business deal, only for the group to discover that Jason's deadbeat dad is the very same "Donkey Doug" from all his old stories. Between a gloriously unhinged Shark Tank-style pitch for a combined energy drink and body spray, Chidi's simulator-assisted breakup with Simone spiraling completely out of control, and a Macho Man Randy Savage-themed airport cameo, no spoilers on the jaw-dropping twist about Tahani's mother waiting at the very end. Post-reaction: both hosts had a great time ranking this as one of the most "Florida" episodes they've ever seen, a real conversation about the right and wrong ways to end a relationship, genuine laughs at Chidi fumbling the simplest possible breakup, and some lighthearted debate over whether the puppy trick is actually a legitimate breakup strategy.
