The Good Place Season 1 Episode 9 REACTION | "...Someone Like Me as a Member" | First Time Watching | Syntell & Rekkai Syntell and Rekkai keep climbing through The Good Place as first-time viewers on Season 1, Episode 9, and the fallout from last episode's bombshell hits immediately. With two Eleanors now in the neighborhood, Michael has to sort out who actually belongs while the real Eleanor Shellstrop settles in and gets to know the group. Chidi finds himself caught between two very different versions of his soulmate situation, Jason deals with a demon determined to expose him, and Tahani opens up about her own complicated past. No spoilers on how the sorting-out actually plays out. Post-reaction: both hosts dug into the messy dynamic of watching the "real" Eleanor charm the group while rooting for their scrappy original Eleanor, plus a lot of laughs over Tahani's name-dropping habit and some genuine debate over whether her constant flexing undercuts her good deeds. Fun tangent into figuring out where they recognized the actress playing real Eleanor from, plus a bigger conversation about feeling like just a "dot on a map" in the universe's eyes. Both are fully hooked heading into the back stretch of the season.
