This is a story about baby Mario and Yoshi. It's not a long story, or a complicated one. And as for its role in cementing the long-term legacy of the Mario series, that barely exists. More so than any of the first four Super Mario games, this is a self-contained work of art that owed little to the past and was ignored by the future. But this is still one of the greatest stories ever told in the history of video games. So if you're still interested, open your ears wide and I'll spin you a yarn... Not literally, of course.
