Not that they were any more difficult of a project the first time, it's just before we were working on a tiny apartment balcony and we didn't have a nail gun. But even if you don't have a nail gun, this is still a really DIY-friendly project. Depending on the drill and jig saw you buy, it's still cheaper to buy the tools and materials needed than to buy or rent marquee letters this big. Plus the metal siding and wood combination makes them look awesome and they're really sturdy. And the globe lights give such a nice glow. We absolutely loved how these marquee letters looked at our wedding, and they're still one of our favorite things we've ever made.
