First and foremost, due to lots of comments, we learned that succulents are probably not the best plants to put in our self watering planter (we actually had one die, but one lived and did so well it outgrew it!) We love the look of a concrete planter, and we were able to get some really interesting curves because of the 3D printed mold we made, though you could definitely accomplish the same functionality just doing a mold out of wood or MDF if you don't have a 3D printer, which is a more DIY friendly option. Overall, we love that this planter is self watering, we love the modern design, we love concrete as a material, and we love what we learned along the way.
