We love the modern handle, leather pull, and mix of materials. The “half lap dovetail” joint was a bit ambitious for a first CNC project on our Carvey, but we learned a ton! We think CNCs are a great way to do complicated joinery like this, and to help you do quick iterations. Side note - the Carvey was super easy to use pretty much immediately out of the box. Also, our mom’s loved how the cheese boards turned out! Would highly recommend this design as a mom-approved gift. You can download our files on Easel and run them yourself if you want to make this too.
